Hi,
I suggest you to reconfigure the radia client on your machine if this issue only appearing on your machine.it can be due to the radia proxy server the machine can not be contacted too.
.or it can be due to the failure to resolve AD. LDAP_RESOLVE
Nice Information Raj.
Thanks sreedhar

When im trying to install Motorola driver application.
showing the message like:
“Another application has exclusive access to the file c:\windows\softwaredistribution\datastorelogs\.tmp.edb.”
can you please explain me what exactly the use of “tmp.edb” file and how to handle this issue.
Thanks & Regards,
C Suresh
temp.edb is a runtime temporary storage file.
The main use of this file is dependends on the applications.
For MS exchange;
Temp.edb is used to verify the queue database schema when the Microsoft Exchange Transport service starts.
Although Temp.edb isn’t a transaction log file, it’s kept in the same location as the transaction log files.
You can use ‘processmon’ utility and verify which process\service lock this file.
Implementing necessary customaction to kill that process\service may help you to rectify this issue.
i have a doubt that
suppose one application is like thjs
half is legacy setup and half is vendor msi now how can i solve this problem
This can be packaged in the following ways;
Method 1.If vendor supports silent installation of this application where the legacy setup installs vendor MSI too, you can proceed with silent install.
Method 2. Capture the legacy setup only separatley and install the two MSIs via scripts.
Method 3.If legacy setup just calls the vendor MSI only(No other action by legacy setup), you can set the ISSETUPDRIVEN property in vendor MSI and instal lonly the MSI.
As per my experience , most of these kind of application will support silent installation.
Have a look in the vendor’s site for more install instructions for these kind of applications.
